WANT TO BE ON THE BLOGROLL?
We are happy to add links to other blogs that cover issues connected to civilian casualties and civilians in conflict. Comment here or email us at blog@civicworldwide.org to request an add to our Blogroll (on the main page, right column). We’d love to swap links! Please note that we may deny requests from sites that lack any substantive content regarding civilians in war, are ‘personal’ blogs, or that strongly contradict CIVIC’s mission statement.
DO YOU HAVE A BLOG OR WEBSITE? WANT TO GET OUR PRESS RELEASES?
If so, you can sign up to receive our press releases from CIVIC — Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict — via e-mail. We will send them to you at the same time we send our press releases to media giants like the New York Times and AP. You could be the first one to break the story!
Subjects typically include:
– Speaking out for war victims when they are harmed;
– Calling for policy change in the US and abroad; and,
– Demanding warring parties take responsibility for their actions.
To get press releases, comment here with your email and a link to your site, or contact us at blog@civicworldwide.org. Also, check out our press room for our backgrounders on major issues connected to civilian casualties. And remember, if you write a post referencing one of CIVIC’s releases, please be sure to link to our website (warvictims.org) and mention our name!
WOULD YOU LIKE OUR EXEC. DIRECTOR TO BE GUEST BLOGGER ON YOUR SITE?
If you would like to invite Sarah Holewsinski, Executive Director, to write a post for your own blog on the subject of civilian casualties, please email us at blog@civicworldwide.org with your information and a summary of your blog and what you would like her to address. This is not a paid statement, but rather an opportunity for us to share information and let people know about civilian casualties.
