Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) — A NATO-led raid in eastern Afghanistan left six civilians dead overnight, and President Hamid Karzai on Thursday ordered authorities to launch an investigation, Afghan officials told CNN on Thursday.
Mubarez Zadran, a provincial government spokesman, told CNN that the civilians were killed in a residential area of Khost province’s Matoon district and said two others were wounded. (more…)
